We sell a single digital product, the Ek Diya Dot, priced at ₹1 (one rupee), one time, inclusive of all taxes. When you buy one, you immediately receive:

• one permanent, numbered dot on our live public map of India;
• your first name, city/state and a short public note shown when someone taps your dot;
• a downloadable Dot Card image (PNG) you can save and share;
• a personal link that opens the map at your dot.

The dot is delivered on screen within seconds of the payment being confirmed. Full details are on our Pricing and Delivery pages.

This is important, so we say it plainly: Ek Diya is not a charity, NGO, fundraiser, donation platform or crowdfunding campaign. We do not collect money on behalf of any person, cause, trust or organisation, and no part of your ₹1 is passed on to anyone else.

Your ₹1 is the price of the digital item you are buying, exactly like buying a sticker, a wallpaper or an in-game item. It is not tax-deductible, it is not an investment or a security, it is not a crypto-asset or NFT, and it carries no resale or monetary value.

India has over a billion people and almost none of us ever show up on the same screen at the same time. Ek Diya is a playful experiment: a dark map of India that slowly lights up, one tiny dot at a time, as more people buy their spot on it. The price is ₹1 so that literally anyone can own one.

It is built and run for fun by one person, not a company or a movement. There is no cause attached to it and nothing is being campaigned for.
